Candace has a BA in Psychology from National-Louis University. She also received 2008’s Who’s Who Among American Students Award while studying psychology at National-Louis. Candace has over a decade of experience working in the event planning industry and her experience has been invaluable for her to bring increased attention to detail and innovative creativity to her work with clients. She started in the wedding industry after planning a friend’s wedding. After planning her friend’s wedding, she had an epiphany that this was her calling. Being in love with all things that have to do with weddings and the industry, Candace founded Events by Candace. As her business grew, Glitz Event Design was born so that she and her team could bring a better wedding experience to her brides and grooms. Candace is committed to providing her clients with exceptional service by working closely with them to create professional and extraordinary events. She often deals with clients whose privacy and confidentiality are imperative. She prides herself as being a great listener. It is important to her to listen to her client’s needs, desires, and then brainstorms with them to make the day even more special. She is skilled at inspiring creative ideas and bringing them to life while reflecting individuality, family traditions and spiritual beliefs. A vital part of Candace’s support comes from strong partnerships with upscale venues and vendors throughout Chicago, New York, and Miami. Candace's philosophy is simple, she is committed to putting a creative, stylish and personal touch on each and every wedding that she has the honor of being a part. One thing you may not know about Candace is that she is a restaurant connoisseur. She will even travel to another State just to try a 5 star restaurant she learned about on television. When Candace visits these restaurants she expects nothing less than Class A service and delicious food to compliment the service; she desires the same for her clients and will go above and beyond to ensure they receive just that. |
